Piano Lessons for Kids
Lesson Information
When and Where
I give piano lessons in my home at 1604 Sunset Drive on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings.
How much does is cost?
Weekly, thirty-minute lessons are $10 per lesson. Therefore each month is usually $40-$50, depending on the amount of Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays in the month. Books cost extra and prices vary based on level of difficulty. I use the Piano Pronto series. For more information on the series, visit the Piano Pronto page.
What you need
Every child starting piano lessons needs a keyboard or piano. Keyboards should have weighted, touch-sensitive keys. It is also recommended that keyboards have at least 61 keys, although a full 88 keys is best. Acoustic pianos should be tuned approximately every six months.
When should kids start?
It depends on each child, but most of the time children five years old and up are old enough to begin piano lessons.
For right now, I do not give lessons on Thursday or Friday. If/When there is a need, I will add more time slots. If you don't see a time that will work for you, contact me to make arrangements for a different time.
